Putting Leadership and Coalitions at the Center of Development
The Leadership, Learning and Innovation (LLI) vice presidency and the Equitable Growth, Finance, and Institutions (EFI) vice presidency of the World Bank Group (WBG) are pleased to invite you to register for the 2016 Global Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C. on June 1-3, 2016 at World Bank Group headquarters. The Forum is the leading event of the Global Partnership on Collaborative Leadership for Development (GPCL4D) that puts Leadership and Coalitions at the center of international development practices.
The GPCL4D aims to move the collaborative leadership agenda forward by creating a sustainable partnership among like-minded practitioners committed to addressing the important role Leadership and Coalitions play in promoting development solutions. It builds on the important work begun in 2007 with Leadership Matters, 2008 with the Leadership Roundtable, as well as the seminar on the Frontiers in Leading Change in 2015, which was jointly organized by the World Bank Group and GIZ, where leading thinkers and development professionals strongly supported the creation of a global partnership for this purpose.
The Forum gathers about 200 partners, leaders and practitioners from government, private enterprise, civil society, foundations and other international development actors working in areas of collaborative leadership. Participants will generate knowledge, develop skills, strengthen partnerships, and support operational work to better attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Forum features a mix of plenary and interactive sessions, an exhibition area, and the launch of the Ed Campos Collaborative Leadership Awards.
We anticipate a dynamic exchange of ideas and knowledge. Please join us!
